Learn from the experts in Assisted Living
The Certification in Assisted Living Leadership promotes operational excellence for leaders in Assisted Living. At the completion of the Certification in Assisted Living Leadership Program attendees will leverage their in-depth training through implementation of practical strategies, practices, and tools to improve their leadership impact in Assisted Living operations and are granted the CALL Credential - Certified Assisted Living Leader.
The next session starts on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 8am. The October cohort will be held (7, 14, 21, 28).
Our program follows the National Board of Long Term Care Administrator's (NAB) Domains of Practice. NAB exams required for Certification
30 Day Program
Four in-person classroom days, once per week
Classes located in Columbus, Ohio
On-demand webinars and reading assignments presented by OALA.
Program Qualifications (One of the following):
Ohio Nursing Home Administrator
3000 Hours direct operational responsibility of licensed senior facility
100 credit hours post high school education in gerontology or healthcare
Holds a Baccalaureate Degree
Licensed health professional defined under rule 3701-17--07.1 of the OAC
National Standards
Learn national standards in areas such as scope of practice, resident care, financial management, business management and workforce development.
Quality Standards
Understand best practice standards in quality for each department in Assisted Living such as food services, business office, and maintenance operations.
Rules & Regulations
Review all the rules and regulations impacting Assisted Living operations and how to interpret and apply practices for compliance.
Leadership Training
Discover how intentional leadership methods can impact Assisted Living operations and contribute to resident and employee satisfaction.
