Speaker: Jill Nowacki

Title: Minimizing Drug Diversion

Bio: Jill Nowacki, RN, BSN, serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Danbury Senior Living/Story Point Group. Since 2022, she has served on the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA) board of trustees.

Jill is a registered nurse who earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University. Her passion for education led her to become a faculty member at a local nursing college. In 2017, she was recognized for her exceptional contributions and received the Ohio Assisted Living Association’s Nurse of the Year award.

Beyond her distinguished nursing career, Jill is actively involved in various professional organizations, including the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society, the American Nurses Association, and the American Assisted Nurses Association. She is committed to fostering leadership development and has served as a mentor to aspiring leaders through her role as a GiANT leadership guide. 

Co-Speaker: Beth Husted

Title: Minimizing Drug Diversion

Bio: Beth Husted, PharmD, RPh, is the Director of Pharmacy at Absolute. She joined the team in early 2019 and quickly became a respected leader and trusted advisor. She initiated our “Follow Me Home” discharge program and took on leadership of the Consultant Pharmacists and their many clinical initiatives and services.

During the pandemic, Beth led our COVID-19 vaccination efforts, including acquisition of the vaccine to become a Phase 1A provider - one of nine LTC pharmacies nationally! Due to her success with the COVID-19 vaccine initiative, she quickly earned an honorary Queen of COVID Award.

Beth is a graduate of Ohio Northern University.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her three kids and husband.
