Bio: Caitlin Richard, RN is the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Assisted Living and Independent Living Division at Summit Home Care & Hospice. She began her nursing career in 2020 after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Fortis College.
Caitlin has experience in home health nursing and has developed a strong understanding of the unique clinical needs of older adults living in assisted living and independent living communities. In her current role, she serves as a clinical resource and bridge between facility leadership, nursing teams, residents, and Summit clinicians across the communities her division supports.
She is passionate about strengthening communication and collaboration between senior living communities and healthcare providers, supporting nurses in navigating complex clinical situations, and promoting quality, compassionate care that allows residents to remain safely in the setting they call home.
Caitlin brings a practical, relationship-focused approach to nursing leadership and enjoys sharing real-world experiences, challenges, and solutions that can help strengthen care delivery within assisted living communities.
Outside of her professional life, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, gardening, being outdoors, and supporting their involvement in youth sports and rodeo.
